“No, you can’t,” she giggled. She backed away so he could come inside and then closed the door behind her. “If it’s something cheesy and embarrassing, you’re lucky my roommates are out tonight.” She peered curiously into the bag, unable to see.
He shrugged and walked into the apartment. “It probably is cheesy, but that’s just the way I am! Maybe next time I’ll come when they are home, and I’ll be sure to embarrass you.” He quickly closed the bag when he noticed her peeking. “Not yet! You’ll ruin the surprise.”
He looked around for the largest area of open space he could find. “Okay, We’ll need pillows, blankets and chairs.”
